Our Lent Live series continues this Sunday with a rare and very welcome visit from Mike Chambers, the Petersham consort bass who has had some time away in recuperation. He is joined by Katharine and they will sing excerpts from another movement of the Buxtehude Lenten cantata Membra Jesu nostri. The hymn is one of our favourites, Tell out my soul, Mary's song on hearing she is to be a mother, and the Communion anthem is a classic and beautiful motet from Herbert Howells, a setting of a Robert Bridges poem "My eyes for beauty pine".
