We have three dedicated groups for children that meet during the 9.30am Sunday service. We aim to create a safe and fun enviroment that helps children gain a deeper understanding of Jesus at each stage of life enabling parents and carers to partake in the main service.

Ages 1-6

The Vestry Group is for our younger members, they usually go out after the second hymn and follow a programme of familiar songs, a bible story and a simple crafting session and prayer. Parents and carers are welcome to stay but the hope is that once the youngsters settle into a routine, parents and carers can return to the church for the rest of the service.

Ages 6-10

The Tower Group follows a programme devised on lines known as "Godly Play" which enables children to discover more about their reaction to the main Bible stories.

Ages 10+

The Youth Group is for our older children aged 10 years and over. They usually go out after the first hymn for a slightly longer session than our younger members. They meet in our Parish Room and follow a programme devised by our experienced youth leaders.

St Peter's Rendezvous group meets on a Thursday morning once a month in the Parish Room from 10:30am to 11:30am. All are welcome to join us for coffee and cake along with a chat.

Our Prayer Group meets to pray for individuals and also those concerns that affect us all. For more information please contact the Parish office.

St Peter's has a voluntary choir open to all ages. Choir practice is at 9am on Sunday mornings before the main service. If you would like to know more or are interested in joining the choir please contact our Director of Music Ben Driver through the Parish office.
