On Sunday 12th May, St Peter’s Church celebrated Vancouver Day, welcoming Canadian Royal Naval Staff, the Deputy Mayor of Richmond upon Thames, Councillors, local historians and the Petersham and Ham Sea Scouts, to our Parish Communion Service. Following the service we held a wreath laying ceremony at the grave of Captain George Vancouver in the churchyard and afterwards shared refreshments in the Parish Room.
