St Peter's Church "E News", Friday 19th February
Dear Member of St Peter's
As Lent begins I know that some of you are “taking up” rather than “giving up” for Lent. What you are taking up is the practice of finding a moment during your day (short or long) to pray or read a Biblical reading. Some of you are using the #LiveLent leaflets and some are using the app of the same title that is available free from the Church of England Website. However you practise spending time with God in this way during Lent please feel encouraged to continue, even if you miss a day or two. A little salt can season a whole dish and so it is with prayer in our daily lives, a little can go a long way.
I will pray for you all in the week ahead.
Canon Tim Marwood (Vicar of Petersham)
