An extra "E News" for Maundy Thursday from St. Peter's

Dear Member of St Peter's ,

Thank you for your many kind comments about the high quality of the music in the recorded Services for Holy Week.

This year we have dedicated the display of Easter lilies in St Peter’s to the memory of all the Faithful Departed ,our thanks to Sue Devine for arranging this display.

Please find attached the essay “Glory” in the Lent and Easter series by a local writer. Our thanks to the author , we are very fortunate to have you in our midst.

The remaining Holy Week and Easter Services live at St Peter’s are as follows:

Maundy Thursday at 8pm on the 1stApril ,The Service of the Last Supper

Good Friday at 11am on the 2nd April The Cross of Christ”

Easter Sunday 8am Holy Communion(BCP) 9.30am Parish Communion

(Social Distancing of “one metre plus mitigation” is in action in St Peter’s. Please wear a face covering and use the hand sanitiser on entering the church and follow the directions of the wardens to exit.)

A fond farewell to Hannah and Rachel

Rachel, our Mission Pastoral Assistant and youth worker, and Hannah, her fellow youth worker will be leaving their roles at St Peter’s before Christmas. This is sad news for St Peter’s. Rachel and H
